La Nuit Que Le Temps a Oubliée — Soul Penny Circus Original Production
About this Event
On a soft summer evening, a clown named Wingus follows a strange, flickering light into the darkness — and never quite finds his way back.
La Nuit Que Le Temps a Oubliée is Soul Penny Circus's bold new original production: a fever dream of flying trapeze, aerial silks, Chinese pole and haunting clownery, presented under the century-old Art Deco vaults of Le Château de Cirque in Montréal.
What begins as a solitary evening stroll becomes a descent into a world of dreamers frozen in time — mermaids, moon goddesses, forest witches, and creatures that exist only in the space between sleep and waking. As the dream deepens, the show intensifies: colour floods the darkness, the ordinary shifts into the strange, until Wingus awakens and discovers the years have slipped away.
Half circus, half theatre, half ghost story — it's an evening designed for a room that seems to have been waiting a hundred years to welcome it.
