ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

LA LUNE is a workshop developed in Brisbane, Australia that AstroDramaLabs co-founder, Ethan Paisley, will bring home to Petaluma! The workshop involves exploring the astrology of the moon through creative movement, connection, and shared reflection.

The first half of class is an exploration of the Moon as a cosmic body and archetype. To do this, we will bring the Moon "down to earth" through physical theatre exercises, movement, and touch, helping us evoke her astrological significations. The second half of class is an exploration of the Moon in your personal birth chart, where class members will perform in each other's Moon signs to generate reflection and catharsis.

**You do not need to have any background in astrology or performing arts to participate.**

To make the most of the night, I encourage you to open your heart and mind and simply say "yes" to the experience of being moved by the cosmos.

I feel very lucky to be hosting this workshop at the place that gave me my initial love for theatre, the Mercury Theatre (formerly Cinnabar's location)!!

WHAT TO BRING

Please bring a bottle of water and dress in comfortable clothing the colours of the Moon! Silver, green, and white were the colours assigned to her in the ancient world.

ABOUT ASTRO-DRAMA LABS

Astro-Drama Labs was founded in 2025 by theatre-maker Jacinta Maxwell and astrologer Ethan Paisley, with the goal of helping others heal and creatively self-actualise through forming an embodied relationship to the cosmos. Our organisation aims to carry forth the tradition of Astro-Drama developed in the 20th century, which blended psychological theatre with astrology to enable healing and creative pathways. We seek to challenge and expand the tradition through incorporating elements of our passions for physical theatre, divination, and ancient ritual.
