Before the pandemic, there was a dance floor that felt like home.For so many in Milwaukee’s salsa community, Wherehouse was more than a venue. It was where friendships formed, confidence grew, and memories were made week after week. It was loud, sweaty, electric, and alive.
This summer, La Gozadera Social MKE returns to that spirit.
Back to the Wherehouse is not about pretending the past was perfect. It’s about honoring what it gave us and stepping forward with stronger standards, and deeper pride in our community.
