LA Garba Raas Night 2024

LA Garba Raas Night 2024 is back and better than ever! Join us for a night of energetic music, non-stop dancing and community connection at Optimist Studios.

LA GarbaRaas Night is a special charitable community Navaratri celebration. Our goal through this event is to build communitiy and celebrate Indian culture by teaching GarbaRaas to the next generation.

We'll start the evening with a dance lesson followed by garba, raas and Aarti. All the while, enjoy our vendor mela filled with vendors, food stations and activities for families.

This year, we will be featuring two philanthropic partners. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit TeachAAPI - an organization working to create systemic change in the perception of Asians in America through enhancing AAPI education in schools across the country. We'll also be collecting supplies for SevaSphere - an organization taking a holistic approach to supporting the unhoused community. You can find their wishlist here.
