Absorb the sights, sounds, tastes and arts of Mexico at La Fiesta, a free and fun festival held across two central city locations in Tāmaki Makaurau. Enjoy free tasters of tamales while you browse art, craft and food markets at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki. Get the whānau to participate in creating a large-scale mural with Mexican artist Mayan Quintos and watch colourful and vibrant dance performances by Ollin Yoliztli.
Across the road at Central City Library create your own clay animals, play a traditional Mexican board game, enjoy storytelling and feel your spirit soar as you listen to a live mariachi band.
