LA FIESTA DEL MONTE — LA ÚLTIMA CONGA
Han sido años de búsqueda, encuentros, risas y música. Por la Familia del Monte han pasado muchos hermanos y hermanas, músicos llegados desde Cuba y de otros lugares, construyendo juntos una nueva manera de celebrar nuestra identidad y nuestra música.
En el Marula Café se creó algo mucho más grande que una fiesta: se creó una familia.
Ahora toca cerrar una etapa y abrir nuevos caminos. Y queremos hacerlo como siempre: cantando, bailando y celebrando.
Porque la conga es eso: tambor, calle, encuentro y la alegría de caminar juntos.
Este 5 de septiembre llega La Última Conga: la última Fiesta del Monte del año y la última vez que nos encontraremos en este formato.
No es un adiós. Es un hasta pronto.

It’s been years of searching, coming together, laughter and music. Many brothers and sisters have been part of the Familia del Monte — musicians from Cuba and beyond — building together a new way to celebrate our identity and our music.
At Marula Café, something much bigger than a party was born: a family was created.
Now it’s time to close one chapter and open new paths. And we want to do it the way we always have: singing, dancing and celebrating.
Because that’s what conga is all about: drums, the streets, coming together, and the joy of moving forward side by side.
This September 5th, The Last Conga arrives: the final Fiesta del Monte of the year, and the last time we’ll come together in this format.
This isn’t goodbye. It’s see you soon.
