La Doña is a solo artist music educator activist & cultural worker from San Francisco. Born Cecilia Peña-Govea she began her career at age seven playing trumpet strings & percussion in her family's conjunto. She is a student teacher & preservationist of Latinx traditional arts like corridors bolero cumbia and mariachi. In her compositions she combines these traditions with contemporary disport music like reggaeton hip-hop & jazz. You don't wanna miss it!
