La Decima Musa: Day 2

Join us for 2 day showcase celebrating the creativity and talent of Latine artists through workshops, fashion, poetry, and music!

Day 2: Will feature a series of workshops by, artist Gabriela Jiménez Marván, who brings Mexican folk art to life through clay and drawings. The workshop will be a clay sculpture making workshop titled "Volar" which explores creating unique sculptures that represent what freedom means to each guest,and and it will be tied to Sor Juana and her ability to transcend through her creative expression. Students will work on their piece from concept to production by first drawing their design then bringing it to life with Gabriela's guidance.
