This week at the Lake Harriet Bandshell we are hosting La Danse Fatale, a classical group. La Danse Fatale is a nonprofit performing arts ballet company featuring talented dancers aged 12–18, helping them transition toward professional-level performance. Founded in 2003 – Over two decades of inspiring dance and artistic growth under the direction of Julia Levina. Julia trained and performed in Ukraine before leading La Danse Fatale in Minnesota. Every year (traditionally early March), dancers debut new story-based productions packed with ballet, pointe, and contemporary choreography. Since 1892, Music in the Parks has provided residents and families opportunities to gather and enjoy local music throughout the summer. Since its inception thousands of free concerts have taken place. Concerts are weekly and vary from classic rock, hip hop, international, funk and many more genres of music.
