The UKSS L1 Foundation Ski Instructor qualification licenses candidates to teach beginners and early intermediates up to plough parallel at UK snowsport centres. The qualification can be used in UK artificial snowsport centres and also in Scottish mountain snowsport resorts (upon completion of an additional 1 day On-Piste Leadership Skills Module (formerly Mountain Induction training)).
