About this Event
Course Description:
This is an intermediate-level course designed to describe the core principles and processes of HSEEP, its standardized methodology, available resources, and practical skill development, which will assist in developing an HSEEP consistent exercise program. This course is part of the Emergency Management Basic Academy curriculum.
Course Objectives
Understand the role of HSEEP in National Preparedness and HSEEP exercise principles and methodology support efforts across the whole community to improve our national capacity to build, sustain, and deliver Core Capabilities.
Selection Criteria
Local emergency managers and representatives of voluntary organizations
Target Audience
The target audience for this training are those involved in planning, program management, design and development, conduct, evaluation, and improvement planning of HSEEP consistent exercises
Prerequisite
Required: IS-120.c An Introduction to Exercises Recommended: IS-130 Exercise Evaluation and Improvement Planning Classes may be taken at http://training.fema.gov .
