Lāʻau Love Native & Food Plant Adoptions in Hilo

The fifth and final 2025 installment of the Lāʻau Love Plant Adoption Series is taking place at Hawaiʻi County Building (25 Aupuni Street, Hilo HI) on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Community members are invited to adopt up to three native and food plants per household; duplicate reservations of the same plant are not allowed.

Please note before reserving your plants:
Be sure to pick up your plants by 7:00 p.m. on the night of the event. Any reserved plants not claimed by that time will be made available to other participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
