“Grounded Confidence: A Bioenergetic Path to Self-Esteem” - Discovering your Body – as the important ally in this process is indeed the central concern of how the workshop leader understands his bioenergetic therapeutic work.
Thru bioenergetic exercises the participants will be encouraged and helped to reconnect to basic biological ways of dealing with and releasing survival tension patterns, e.g., caused by trauma.
The continuous work on increasing the organism’s tolerance for energetic charge and human contact as a base for strong feelings to be felt, expressed and contained can be experienced and discussed.
Participants will have the opportunity to partake in individual bioenergetic sessions in front of the group which will be followed by group processing. This is not mandatory.
Based on the possibility of intensive personal experiences an overlook of theoretical and practical cornerstones of Bioenergetic Analysis and the therapeutic practice of the method will be provided.
The workshop is an introduction to Bioenergetic Analysis and is intended for already working psychotherapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, students of psychotherapy and psychology, social workers or coaching specialists.
Heiner Steckel - a body psychotherapist from Germany with more than 40 years of work experience, studied under Alexander Lowen himself. He has been working with international training for many years, has been teaching in Brazil for many years, and now in Poland and Lithuania.
