🌊 Beach Clean & Native Seed Collection at Ocean Beach! 🌱Join us for a dual mission: help clear rubbish from our beautiful coastline and collect precious kōwhangatara (spinifex) seed heads for future dune restoration.
📍 Meeting Point: Aotea carpark (end of Lawton Drive)
From here, we'll provide transport past the harbour to main beach.
What to expect:
* A rewarding afternoon cleaning our beach of recently reported rubbish
* Learning about and collecting kōwhangatara seeds while they're in their prime
* Connecting with other epic locals
* A well-deserved sausage sizzle back at Aotea afterward
