As professionals, we operate in a linguistically and culturally Emotional wellness is essential for overall well-being because it influences how we think, feel, and behave in daily life. It impacts our ability to manage stress, form relationships, and make decisions. Prioritizing emotional wellness leads to a more fulfilling and balanced life, improving both personal and professional outcomes.Pravisha is currently the Director at Lifeline Durban, an NPO that supports community emotional wellness through counselling, training, and programme activities. With a B.A Social Work Honors Degree at the University of Durban Westville and a B. A Psychology Honors Degree Pravisha has 25 years of experience in this field. She has worked at Phoenix Child Welfare Society for 7 years and at Childline KZN for 7 years and has currently just completed 13 years at LifeLine Durban.
DATE: WEDNESDAY 2nd April ’25
VENUE: Hellenic Community Centre
TIME: Breakfast from 08:00am, meeting to start at 08:30 until 10:30am
COST: Members R290, Non-members R395. (includes secure off-road free parking, breakfast, gift, meeting list, networking & guest speaker)
BOOKING DEADLINE: Before 12 noon on FRIDAY, 28th MARCH ’25
LATE BOOKINGS & CANCELLATIONS: Please note any bookings received after 12noon on Friday before the meeting will be charged R495.00 for the meeting, if space is available.
