New to dancing? New to Social/Partner dancing? Curious but unsure how to jump in? Or maybe you're not new! but still curious?
This workshop is designed to make social dancing feel comfortable, respectful, and most importantly, FUN! — no experience required💫
We’ll cover:
🫶 Initiating Partner Dances — consent, communication, & respect
🕺🏽 Lead & Follow fundamentals 💃🏽— roles & expression
🧱 Frame & Connection — walking together, intention, & flow
🎶 Rhythm & Musicality — a grounded dance & feeling the music
🌍 Culture & Evolution of African & Caribbean-based social dancing — a brief history of the culture, roots, & evolution of the dances
✨ Zero pressure. Zero judgment. Just learning, laughing, and moving together ✨

💃🏽🕺🏽 After a 1 hr all-levels (beginner-friendly) workshop stick around for an open dance social featuring African & Caribbean-based genres: Kizomba, Konpa, and Zouk!
❤️ Whether you’re brand new, experienced, or just here to vibe to the music — you belong here. Dancing is optional, connection is encouraged.
✨ KZK Socials are about FUN, COMMUNITY, and CONNECTION — not levels, perfection, or performance. Come as you are and let the music guide you ✨
