Kyle Rowland was ten years old when his father brought him to blues harmonica legend Rick Estrin for a first lesson. Two decades later, Estrin and Kid Andersen produced Rowland's 2025 album Not Holding Back!, a fierce set of blues, soul, and R&B that earned a 2026 Blues Music Award nomination. The Sacramento singer and harp player is now the youngest artist ever inducted into the Sacramento Blues Hall of Fame.

A Hohner endorsee and a Memphis International Blues Challenge semifinalist in both 2024 and 2025, Rowland plays with the ferocious attack of the masters he chased as a kid, from James Cotton to Charlie Musselwhite. His band rips through traditional Chicago and Texas blues, vintage soul, and gritty R&B with a fire that turns a first set into a room nobody wants to leave.
