Come learn the traditional art of pounding kalo and connect with Hawaiian culture in a fun, hands-on way!
About this Event

Join Papahana Kuaola, an aloha ʻāina-based educational nonprofit located in the ahupuaʻa of Heʻeia, for a hands-on experience learning about kalo and the traditional practice of kuʻi kalo. Following this program we will have poi you can sample.

Pre-registration is recommended but not required. You can do so by calling: (808)733-8423, or by signing up at the library Reference Desk.
