The 'mouthfill.' 'FRCs.' 'Packing.' You may have heard of these in your curiosity about venturing deeper, just as you heard of 'breathing techniques' and 'black outs' before your intro course. These are pieces of the puzzle, not straightforward to put together on your own in any brief amount of time, but which can unlock profound capability when put together right. Just as your intro course provided a concise, organized coverage of the fundamental modern knowledge of breath-holding and freediving, helping you put together those early pieces you'd gathered, my advanced course is intended to show you the way forward when reaching 100' has become familiar territory. The same training, approaches and strategies used by competitive freedivers are shared, which could facilitate your journey to 200' and beyond...Aside from having already completed an intro course, candidates should be very comfortable with prolonged breath-holds/dives (i.e., not abandoning due to contractions), equalize reliably using the Frenzel technique, and have dependable equipment. Supplemental equipment such as nose clips, monofins and dive gauges are available from me.
The course is $350/3 days.
As always, any former students of my advanced class can also rejoin for any days at no cost, which I encourage as I am learning new approaches every year as I continue training for and venturing abroad for competitions (2019: CWB 98m, FIM 100m national records), as well as refining previously presented knowledge.
