Join us for a magical Ivana Kupala celebration—an ancient Ukrainian midsummer festival rooted in solstice traditions, light, nature and joy.
🌿 Kupala Party - Celebrate Ukrainian Midsummer Traditions! 🌿
Join us for a magical celebration inspired by Ivana Kupala - one of the oldest and most beloved Ukrainian festivals, rooted in ancient midsummer traditions and the Summer Solstice ☀️
For centuries, Ukrainians celebrated this special night with bonfires, flower wreaths, music, dancing, and rituals symbolising love and the power of nature. According to folklore, Kupala night was filled with magic: people believed the mythical fern flower bloomed only once a year, bringing luck and happiness to whomever found it 🌙✨
Today, Kupala Party brings these traditions to life in a charitable and inclusive community celebration supporting Ukraine and connecting cultures.
✨ What to expect:
• Ukrainian artisan market
• Wreath-making workshops 🌸
• Children’s entertainment
• International food & drinks stalls
• Live music performances by Ukrainian artists & musicians 🎶
• DJs and a summer party atmosphere
• Mystical theatre performance by VYR Collective inspired by Kupala rituals 🔥
This joyful event is part of Refugee Week celebrations and creates a welcoming space where culture, community, and tradition come together 💛💙
