𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐣𝐨𝐧𝐢 𝐭𝐚𝐥-𝐊𝐮𝐧𝐜̇𝐞𝐫𝐭 Kunċert sinfoniku li ser jiġbor flimkien ħames kompożizzjonijiet ta’ kompożituri li ddominaw is-seklu dsatax u għoxrin, flimkien ma premiere ta’ xogħol kontemporanju. Kunċert li ser jagħti l-opportunita’ lil Karol Aquilina, li jinterpreta fuq il-kitarra l-kunċert sħiħ ikoniku ta’ Rodrigo. Bħala mużika ballabli ser nisimgħu wieħed mill-aktar waqtiet mistennija mill-ballu Spartacus ta’ Kachaturian, il-ħarba tal-maħbubin Spartacus u Phrygia, flimkien mall-Boléro, l-aktar xogħol magħruf ta’ Ravel. L-overture mill-opera Giovanni d’Arco ta’ Giuseppe Verdi ttemm dan il-kunċert b’mużika mill-aktar spettakolari u famuża.
𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
A symphonic concert bringing together five compositions by composers who dominated the 19th and 20th centuries, along with the premiere of a contemporary work. The concert features guitarist Karol Aquilina, who will perform Rodrigo’s iconic Concierto de Aranjuez.
The program also includes one of the most eagerly awaited moments from Khachaturian’s Spartacus ballet—The Adagio of Spartacus and Phrygia—along with Ravel’s Boléro, his most famous work.
The overture from Giuseppe Verdi’s opera Giovanni d’Arco concluded this concert with some of the most spectacular and famous music.
