Velkommen til Kunstfest Rotvoll 2026!
Lørdag 29. august inviterer Rotvoll Kunstnerkollektiv til en ny KUNSTFEST! En hel sommerdag med konserter ute og inne, utstillinger, visuelle opplevelser, workshops og scenekunst fra en rekke ulike arenaer rundt inne og utenfor kunstnerhuset. Rotvoll er et unikt sted for en sommerfestival i Trondheim: Grønne parker, havluft, historiske bygninger – og ikke minst: Her jobber til daglig 90 av Trondheims mest profilerte kunstnere og musikere. Kunstfest leverer de intime kunst- og konsertopplevelsene, og ønsker med det å krympe avstanden mellom deg som publikummer og oss.
Vi slipper programmet dryppvis utover sommeren - men inviterer også til spennende uannonserte opplevelser.
Vi ønsker å holde terskelen lav for å få oppleve kultur av ypperste kvalitet. Derfor, inspirert av Rosendal Teater velger vi å ha "Betal- det- du – kan" med flere priskategorier som alle gir deg inngang til festivalen. Du velger selv om du har råd til å betale 300, 400, 500, 600 eller 750,-, alle kategorier gir deg tilgang til det samme under festivalen.

Ankomst: Buss 20 til Rotvoll, 5-7 minutters gange fra stasjonen. Tog til Rotvoll Stasjon, 4 minutters gange. Gratis parkering ved Rotvollfjæra, 150 meter fra festivalen!
Tilgjengelighet: Festivalen jobber så godt den kan med å gjøre mange av arrangementene/utstillingene tilgjengelige for alle. Vi er i et gammelt bygg uten heis, og med flere dørterskler - men vi har derfor deler av programmet utendørs på asfalt, slik at rullestol e.l. fint skal kunne komme seg frem. I 1. etasje er det også mulig å komme inn via dør i buegangen mot bakgården. Her er det terskler på opp til 3 cm høyde!
Konsertene i kapellet og C236 er dessverre i tredje etasje uten heis.
HC- toalett med tilhørende heis er tilgjengelig ved å ta kontakt i infoboden eller ringe tilgjengelighetsansvarlig Maia på tlf. 41251603. Skulle du ha andre behov for tilrettelegging, eller ha ytterligere spørsmål - ta kontakt med Maia.
Welcome to Kunstfest Rotvoll 2026!
On Saturday, August 29, Rotvoll Artist Collective invites you to a new edition of ART FEST! Spend a full summer day enjoying outdoor and indoor concerts, exhibitions, visual experiences, workshops, and performing arts across a variety of venues in and around the artist house.
Rotvoll is a unique setting for a summer festival in Trondheim: green parks, fresh sea air, historic buildings—and perhaps most importantly, the daily workplace of 90 of Trondheim’s most prominent artists and musicians. Art Fest is all about creating intimate artistic and musical experiences, bringing audiences and artists closer together.
We’ll be releasing the program gradually throughout the summer, while also leaving room for exciting surprise experiences that won’t be announced in advance.
We want to keep the threshold low for experiencing culture of the highest quality. Inspired by Rosendal Theatre, we therefore operate on a “Pay What You Can” model, with several ticket categories that all provide the same festival access. You can choose whether you are able to pay NOK 300, 400, 500, 600, or 750—every ticket category grants entry to the full festival experience.

Getting Here
Bus 20 to Rotvoll, followed by a 5–7 minute walk from the stop.
Train to Rotvoll Station, followed by a 4-minute walk.
Free parking is available at Rotvollfjæra, just 150 meters from the festival site.
Accessibility
The festival is committed to making as many events and exhibitions as possible accessible to everyone. We are located in a historic building without an elevator and with several door thresholds. To improve accessibility, parts of the program take place outdoors on paved surfaces, allowing wheelchair users and others with mobility aids to move around comfortably.
On the ground floor, access is also possible through the entrance in the arcade facing the courtyard. Please note that there are thresholds of up to 3 cm in height.
Unfortunately, the concerts in the Chapel and C236 take place on the third floor and are not accessible by elevator.
An accessible toilet and elevator are available upon request. Please contact the information booth or call our Accessibility Coordinator, Maia, at +47 412 51 603.
