Origami, the art of paperfolding - why is it so important to Kuniko? What is origami evolution? How did origami save her and her friends from deep depression at love lost? Kuniko shares personal stories now with the understanding that she herself is like an origami folded piece with a mastery of storytelling and origami.
A native of Japan, Kuniko Yamamoto received her Bachelor of Psychology from Otani University of Kyoto, Japan in 1983. She started performing professionally in her hometown of Osaka where she grew up studying traditional dance, music and theater. She now lives in Sarasota, Florida, where she is a performer and teaching artist of origami and storytelling.
