Where in our lives can we achieve more peace through a balanced state of mind?
The entire efforts of our yoga practice are centred around achieving a balance of the inflowing and outflowing energies that we call Prana and Apana. These are intrinsically male and female polarities often called Yin and Yang or Shiva and Shakti, they are the two dancing serpents that spiral around the central staff of light that is our central Nadi, Sushumna channel (soul nerve) depicted beautifully in the image of the caduceus, the oldest symbol of healing on the planet. These energies are best explained as that of our cosmic parents, Father Sky and Mother Earth. It is the marriage of these elemental forces that takes place in the human body and eventually leads us to a fully realised state that we refer to as enlightenment or the great awakening.
In this ceremony, we will explore these energies with the technology of Kundalini yoga and sacred sound healing.
