Kumortuli is not only about idol making. This area has a great past and is an important part of the old city. Kolkata Explorers brings you a curated walk to rediscover the area at this time of the year to understand the present socio-economic conditions of the artisans and the cultural influence of great personalities of this area.
TOUR ITENARY:
1. Meet at 5:30pm at Lal Mandir (the temple near Sovabazar Metro gate on Jatindra Mohan Avenue)
2. Greet guests with a 'bhar' of tea and a quick round of local snacks
3. Our walk starts at 5:45pm
4. This will be a guided tour. Photography permitted. Ticket charges additional.
6. Our tour will end at the last point at 8pm.
PLEASE WEAR:
Casual comfortable clothes
Slip-ons or flat shoes for walking

Drinking water (please avoid using single use plastic bottles)
