KIEC Global, in association with HB Music, presents the Nepali band KUMA SAGAR & THE KHWOPA | Live in Sydney at the heritage-site venue ENMORE THEATRE in Newtown, Sydney. The band's music assures a taste of Nepali culture and its' thousands of years old heritage. The band has a rare and fresh sound and plays five uniquely indigenous Nepali musical instruments such as Khin, Dhimey, Sarangi, Bhuchhya and Madal, fused with Nagara, eastern style bamboo flutes, bass guitar and acoustic guitars.
KUMA SAGAR & THE KHWOPA is currently the country's favourite, with the band's music liked by kids to seniors, and from east to the west of Nepal. The reason - the band meticulously weaves the traditional Nepali melodies with the modern vibes.
KUMA SAGAR & THE KHWOPA will be presented to the Sydney audience on 24 March 2025, Monday evening, with the Australia Tour lined up for other Australian cities as well.
