Grant van Rooyen is a bassist vocalist writer and composer who has performed at venues and festivals across South Africa. After years as a respected session musician recently he’s been focusing on performing and releasing his own material.
Gabriel Espi is a songwriter performer and producer who loves finding music in every little corner of life and working with unusual grooves and intimate themes. His style takes as much inspiration from Brazilian music’s style of singing and playing guitar as from jazz’s harmony and hip hop’s rhythm and feel.
After years of performing across Cape Town and Johannesburg 2021 saw Gabriel make the step of releasing his debut 'Intimations' EP. Since then he has been performing regularly with a band of exciting young musicians and developing material for his upcoming full-length album debut.
