What is it: Kukur Tihar is an annual festival originating from Nepal. On this day, people worship dogs to please Yama, the god of death, as they are considered to be his messengers. Dogs are decorated with tilaka and wear flower garlands around their necks. We will shower your pups with all the glory of this celebration.
Guests of Honor: Your dogs! All dogs will be worshiped at Pimlico on this day! Come for 5 minutes or join us for a few hours!
Menu: Treats, hot dogs, ice water. For the humans, we will have outstanding BBQ available.
Shop: Vendors will be onsite with handcrafted dog accessories and nutrition. Also will have other fabulous artisans selling their goods.
Auction! A virtual auction will be held with fabulous goods & services! #shoplocal
Learn: Learn about the dog overpopulation in Houston & how you can save a life by fostering.
Admission: FREE! We ask for you to register so we know how many free hotdogs and goodies to have.
Proceeds will benefit dog rescue!
Vendors welcome! Contact [email protected]
