The Kujenga Family Wellness Fair is a free community event designed to support, uplift, and empower families across Durham Region. Whether you're a parent, caregiver, youth, elder, or community member, this day is for YOU.

🧡 What to Expect:

Workshops & Talks on parenting, wellness, mental health, and culturally grounded strategies

Children & Youth Programming that’s fun, educational, and engaging

Live Performances from some of the GTA’s most talented cultural artists and youth creatives

Vendor Marketplace featuring local businesses, family services, and community organizations

Wellness Activities, including yoga, mindfulness, and collective reflection

Delicious FREE snacks and treats provided throughout the day

🌀 This year’s theme: “Honouring our Parents, Caregivers, Guardians and Elders"
We invite you to reflect on your personal and collective journey—what you’ve overcome, what you’ve let go of, and how we can build stronger community together. This theme will be woven into our workshops, performances, and collective conversations throughout the day.

🌍 Rooted in Africentric and Indigenous worldviews, Kujenga is a space of collaboration, healing, and building. We celebrate the values of Ubuntu, grace, and community care—creating a welcoming and inclusive space for all families.
