About this Event
Kujenga Family Wellness Fair 2026
Ustawi Futures: Thriving Families, Thriving Communities
The Kujenga Family Wellness Fair brings families and community members together for a joyful day of connection, culture, wellness, and community care.
Centered on this year’s theme, “Ustawi Futures: Thriving Families, Thriving Communities,” the fair celebrates the importance of creating nurturing environments where families can grow, heal, and flourish together. The theme honours the strength, sacrifice, wisdom, and love of parents, caregivers, guardians, and Elders who continue to guide and support future generations.
This free community event welcomes parents, caregivers, youth, Elders, service providers, and community members to explore accessible resources, celebrate culture, and enjoy a full day of family-friendly activities.
Throughout the day, guests will have the opportunity to connect with services and supports that promote family wellbeing, while also engaging in meaningful conversations about healing, parenting, identity, and community wellness.
The fair also acknowledges the realities many families navigate — including migration, systemic barriers, racism, parenting stress, and intergenerational healing — while celebrating the creativity, cultural pride, resilience, and love that continue to sustain our communities.
