Parallel 44 Presents KUINKA - Celebrating Ten Years of “The Wild North” live in Bend on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at The Domino Room . KUINKA (formerly Rabbit Wilde) has put together a special show in celebration of 10 years of the band's debut album “The Wild North”. It's a throwback to their folk rock roots, and will feature the album on vinyl for the first time, plus special guest appearances. 7:30PM Doors. Local favorites BILLY & THE BOX KID kick off the show at 8PM.
About KUINKA : Described by NPR Music as joyous folk pop, Kuinka "laces modern folk and Americana with an electronic jolt, waltzing along the grooved edges of dream-pop, synth-pop, and Brooklyn’s mid-aughts guitar-rock revival" (Vanyaland). Their genre-defying music features several different lead singers, four-part harmony, and eclectic instrumentation. For all of their sonic experimentation, the Seattle group's songs and live shows are linked by an infectious energy that remains present in everything they do.
