Keep The Colony Beautiful will partner with Texas Master Naturalist Donna Cole for an Owl & Howl Prowl event along the Shoreline Trail on Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Attendees will meet at 6:15 p.m. at the Shoreline Trailhead in Ridgepointe, located at the intersection of Lakeshore Boulevard and Lake Ridge Drive.
The free guided tour will offer participants a rare opportunity to explore the trail after hours while searching for wildlife, tracks and signs. The leisurely walk showcases the Shoreline Trail's nighttime ecosystem and wildlife activity.
The event is open to the public at no charge. Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather, wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring water, and optional bug spray, binoculars and a flashlight. The walk will be approximately one to two miles round trip.
