KSPS PBS: Station Town Hall
About this Event
It’s been a consequential year for public media, and there’s a lot to talk about.
Join us for the first ever KSPS PBS Station Town Hall, an open conversation about your local public television station: How KSPS PBS works, how we’re funded, the impact we’re making across the communities we serve, and where we’re headed in the year ahead.
President & General Manager Skyler Reep and members of the KSPS PBS team will share a candid look at the state of the station, including our finances and fundraising, the changing public media landscape, and what those changes mean for KSPS PBS. We’ll also take you behind the scenes with updates from our Education, Production, Programming, and Engineering & Operations teams.
Along the way, we’ll share highlights from the past year, preview what’s coming next, answer some common questions and misconceptions about public media, and show how community support translates into service and impact throughout our region.
Most importantly, we want to hear from you. We’ll leave plenty of time for questions from our studio and online audiences.
