Woop-woop, that’s the sound of da police. The Teacha a.k.a. The Blastmaster a.k.a. The Philosopher a.k.a. Big Joe Krash a.k.a. KRS-One komt met zijn ‘My Philosophy Tour’ naar Nederland! In de jaren ’80 werd hij bekend met Boogie Down Productions. Nadat hij in de jaren ’90 solo verder ging klonk zijn invloed door in het hiphop genre. We kennen allemaal ‘Sound of da Police’ maar ook ‘Step into a World (Rapture’s Delight)’, ‘MC’s Act Like They Know’ en ‘A Friend’ zijn klassiekers van zijn hand. Na bijna 50 jaar trekt deze legende nog steeds de wereld over. Zijn politieke statements en boodschappen nog altijd even krachtig.
