On this sacred occasion, the Lynnwood Ananda Community will be transformed into the birthplace of Krishna, evoking the spirit and sweetness of Vrindavan.
In the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, Krishna is seen as a fully realized avatar, or divine incarnation, who descended to awaken humanity from spiritual ignorance. Yogananda taught that Krishna, like Christ, came not merely to perform miracles, but to show the way to Self-realization—to help souls transcend maya (delusion) and realize their unity with God.
