The Victoria Park Centre for the Arts is partnering with Hillview Intercultural Community Centre to deliver cultural sharing events for the community. Our July gathering is a family friendly event celebrating the richness of Indian Ocean Kreol cultures.
Nuanced presents: Exploring Kreol Culture Through Music, Dance and Storytelling
Nuanced is a community development organisation dedicated to celebrating and strengthening the cultural identities of Indian Ocean island communities, including Mauritius, Rodrigues, Seychelles and Réunion Island.
Join us for an interactive cultural experience featuring live & traditional music and instruments, traditional dance, storytelling and audience participation. Through the rhythms of Séga, audiences will discover the histories, resilience and creativity of the Mauritian community and their diaspora in Australia.
