Kreate Music Songwriters' Showcase

This live Songwriters’ Showcase will feature original songs written and performed by the young artists of Kreate Music, accompanied by one of NYC’s most prolific and sought-after ensembles in the New York jazz scene, the Daniel Glass Trio.

The evening will feature performances by Kreate Music songwriting students, current Songwriters’ Accelerator and Solo Artist Accelerator participants debuting songs from our upcoming album release, as well as returning alumni performers.

Set in the heart of the West Village, this exciting event will highlight the creativity, artistry, and growth of Kreate Music’s young performers as they take the stage to share their original music live with a professional band. From heartfelt ballads to energetic pop and rock performances, each song reflects the unique voice and imagination of its songwriter. Come celebrate this special milestone with an inspiring night of live music, community, and the next generation of songwriters!

Meet the Daniel Glass Trio —three of New York City’s best, brightest, and baddest musicians. Led by award-winning drummer, author, and educator Daniel Glass, the group features guitarist Sean Harkness and bassist Michael O’Brien. Collectively, the trio’s credits span an astonishing range of artists, including Bette Midler, Harry Connick Jr., Liza Minnelli, Brian Setzer, Trey Anastasio, José Feliciano, Kathleen Turner, Gene Simmons, and Luann de Lesseps.

Performing regularly throughout the U.S. and Europe, the trio brings its high-energy, genre-defying sound to clubs, concert halls, festivals, and special events alike. In addition to their performances, the group is deeply involved in educational outreach and presents “Playing in Tune,” an engaging corporate leadership program that translates the principles of world-class jazz collaboration into actionable lessons on leadership, trust, and organizational performance.

Founded in 2020 and launched in 2021, Kreate Music was created to give young artists a space to explore their creativity, find their voice, and develop a lifelong love for making music. Through songwriting, community performances, mentorship, recording projects, and artist incubator programs such as the Songwriters’ and Solo Artist Accelerator programs, students are encouraged to express themselves authentically while experiencing the joy of bringing original music to life.

This summer marks five years of Kreate Music — five years of songs written, stories shared, confidence built, and young artists discovering the power of their own voice. This showcase is a celebration of that journey and the incredible community that has grown around it.
