Join us for an enchanting exhibition celebrating the macabre, mystical creatures, characters, and folk tales of Winter, Yule, and Christmas! Wicked Raven Productions is excited to present "KRAMPUS AND OTHER YULETIDE TALES," a group art show that invites artists to explore the rich tapestry of legends and myths that define the holiday season.

Event Details:
DATES December 20th and 21st 2024
LOCATION: Cali Commons Gallery, Omaha
THEME: Krampus, Winter, Yule, and Christmas Creatures, Characters, and Folk Tales

Artists were encouraged to draw inspiration from a variety of enchanting figures, including:
Krampus:The horned punisher of Alpine folklore.
Yule Lads: The mischievous visitors from Icelandic tradition.
Belsnickel: The crotchety gift-bringer from German lore.
Jack Frost: The personification of winter's chill.
The Snow Queen: The icy monarch from fairy tales.
Tomte/Nisse: The protective household spirit from Scandinavia.
The Grýla: The giantess with a taste for naughty children.
The Yule Cat, The Karakoncolos, Frau Perchta, Lussi, The Kallikantzori, and the many more yultide tales and macabre characters of Winter, Yule and Christmas.

Join us to experience how 16 local artists let their imaginations roam free to bring these captivating creatures and characters to life through their unique styles and mediums.
Some were inspired by ancient folklore and classic tales as well.as more contemporary stoeies and pop culture characters.
No matter the inspiration they have created amazing art that you will not want to miss!
