Come celebrate summer with us during our Swedish Crayfish Party! We will provide the crayfish, aquavit, decor, funky costumes, learning opportunities, and songs if you bring the side dishes!
A party centered around eating crayfish? What’s the story there? You’re invited to experience it on Friday, August 14th at the Ely Folk School. The Swedish Kraftskiva is a beloved August tradition, celebrating the historic crayfish hunting season. Patrons should come ready to wear crayfish themed hats and learn about the invasive crayfish of this area. Please bring a dish to share! There is no registration fee, but donations are appreciated.
