KPL Presents Mother's Day High Tea

Celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, aunties, chosen family and caregivers in our lives with a delightful morning of tea, treats, sandwiches, music and conversation in our beautiful Reading Lounge.

Come spend a morning at the library this Mother's Day and toast what motherhood means to you - all while supporting your local library.

Geraldine Stafford will kick off the morning with a toast to motherhood, and live piano music will add to the ambience of your morning.

Feel free to dress up or wear something that makes you feel special.

Tickets on sale: Monday, March 30 at 10 a.m.

Doors: 10 a.m.

Service: 10:30 a.m.

Smaller parties may be seated at communal tables.

• Classic cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches.
• Smoked salmon with dill and caper cream cheese.

• Turkey and pesto sandwiches.

Sweet Treats:

• Freshly baked scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam.
• Miniature pastries, including éclairs, macarons, and cheesecake brownie squares.

• A variety of premium teas, including Earl Grey, Darjeeling, Jasmine Green, Chamomile, and Peppermint.

She is the Festival Director, Caribana Ignite Kitchener; in 2026 Geraldine was awarded the Michael R. Follett Community Leader Award by the Greater KW Chamber of Commerce.
