About this Event
Celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, aunties, chosen family and caregivers in our lives with a delightful morning of tea, treats, sandwiches, music and conversation in our beautiful Reading Lounge.
Come spend a morning at the library this Mother's Day and toast what motherhood means to you - all while supporting your local library.
Geraldine Stafford will kick off the morning with a toast to motherhood, and live piano music will add to the ambience of your morning.
Feel free to dress up or wear something that makes you feel special.

Tickets on sale: Monday, March 30 at 10 a.m.
Doors: 10 a.m.
Service: 10:30 a.m.
Smaller parties may be seated at communal tables.

Info: Geraldine Stafford is the Manager of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the Waterloo Regional Police Service. She is the Festival Director, Caribana Ignite Kitchener; in 2026 Geraldine was awarded the Michael R. Follett Community Leader Award by the Greater KW Chamber of Commerce. Her professional journey reflects her deep commitment to creating spaces where every voice is valued and every story is acknowledged. Yet, among all the roles she holds, the one she treasures most is being a mom. Motherhood has shaped her perspective, strengthened her purpose, and continues to inspire the way she shows up for others every day. Her story is one of resilience, love, and an unwavering belief in the power of owning your own story.
