Konference se bude zabývat nezávislou scénou (alternativní, avantgardní, experimentální hudbou) se speciálními hosty z Čech a zahraničí. V prvním ročníku konference propojíme promotéry, agenty, dramaturgy z Prahy, Bratislavy, Varšavy, Berlína a pevně doufáme, že se nebude jednat o nahodilý a jednorázový výpad, ale že tímto založíme tradici.
Zaměříme se na prezentaci české nezávislé scény před zahraničními agenty a na vzájemné propojení zahraničních produkcí a bookingů. Máme také ambici rozšiřovat obzory českým promotérům o zkušenosti úspěšných zahraničních odborníků, organizátorů festivalů a agentů.
Chceme představit funkční model festivalu v úspěšném bourání žánrových a subkulturních mantinelů.
Jako hlavní host konference se představí světoznámý experimentální kytarista Kristof Hahn z Berlína, který odehraje i svůj koncert v rámci letošního ročníku KovnaFest. V rámci interview bude hovořit o svých zkušenostech z undergroundu, jako i hraní se Swans a dalších vlastních projektech. Rozhovor s ním bude dělat německý žurnalista Florian Fricke, který taktéž žije v Berlíně.
Zajímaví hosté se střetnou v panelové diskusi na téma, „Čím se liší nezávislá hudební scéna v střední Evropě“ z pohledu promotérů a publicistů (realistická očekávaní, vyjednávací podmínky, atraktivita daného města, publikum…) Diskutovat budou Florian Fricke z Berlína (hudební žurnalista), Michal Pařízek (šéfredakto magazínu Fullmoon), Daniel Hevier ml. z Bratislavy (dramaturg, projektový manažér, booking agent a zakladatel agentury Music Press Production), David Čajčík z Prahy (Heartnoize, Roxy), Agata Hudomięt (promotérka, hudební publicistka, fotografka).
Posledním tématem pak bude: Je Praha výjimečným místem a vhodnou promotérskou základnou? Čím zaujmout pražské publikum? Kde jsou dobrá místa na klubové koncerty a festivaly nezávislé hudební scény a proč je Praha tak specifická? O tom budou v moderovaném rozhovoru diskutovat Daniel Hevier ml. s Michalem Pařízekem (novinář a šéfredaktor magazínu FullMoon, člen promotérské skupiny Scrape Sound).

Absolvent multimediálního hudebního žurnalismu – Mnichovská Univerzita Hudebních a uměleckých věd. Pracoval převážně pro Veřejnoprávní rozhlas (Deutschlandfunk, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, Bayerischer Rundfunk), kde dělal rozhovory s nepřeberným množstvím muzikantů od James Murphyho až k Neneh Cherry. Fricke se zajímá hlavně o subkulturní okraje současného a historického pop spektra od Marka Fischera až po africké klubové hybridy. Žije v Berlíně.

Novinář a šéfredaktor magazínu Full Moon, člen promotérské skupiny Scrape Sound. Publikuje od roku 2002, jeho texty vycházely v médiích jako Aktualne.cz, Reflex, Týden, Uni atd. Aktuálně vysílá také na stanicích Český rozhlas Vltava a Radio 1. Pro Full Moon magazín pracuje od jeho založení v roce 2010, od roku 2014 je jeho šéfredaktorem. Působí také jako kurátor a dramaturg FullMoon Stage na Colours of Ostrava a dalších festivalech. Od roku 2020 spolupořádá festival Moody Moon Noize. Vyšla mu kniha Uprostřed příběhu, výběr z textů.

Nosí několik klobouků v rámci branže – mísí role promotéra koncertů, bookera, spoluzakladatele Heartnoize Promotion v roce 2013 – uznávané české koncertní agentury oceněné Cenou Vinyla. Podílel se na importu řady světově známých alternativních počinů do České republiky. Jeho otisk nesou události jako festival Moody Moon Noize a série Jednota, Šelest a glitter.hit. Kromě své role v Heartnoize působí od roku 2018 jako booker v ikonickém pražském klubu Roxy a přispívá do programovacího týmu v nově obnoveném areálu ARCHA+.

Agata Hudmięt je již mnoho let zastánkyní nezávislé kultury v Polsku a bez problémů propojuje své role hudební novinářky, fotografky a spolutvůrkyně Undertone, jedné z předních nezávislých hudebních platforem v zemi. Její práce ji zavádí na polské i mezinárodní festivaly, kde zachycuje podstatu živé hudby prostřednictvím působivé fotografie a zasvěcených rozhovorů s umělci. Rozhovory jsou její specialitou. Její práce byla publikována v Noise Magazine, Gazeta Magnetofonowa a jejím vlastním nezávislém hudebním ZINE. V současné době žije ve Varšavě a pracuje v místním komunitním centru.

Absolvent doktorandského studia na filozofické fakultě odbor Muzikologie, kde se zaobíral vývojem slovenské a zahraniční rockové hudby v 50. a 60. letech. Zúčastnil se konference European Jazz Personalities (Bratislava), Fenomén Zappa (České Budějovice), I AM NOT THERE věnované Bobovi Dylanovi (Lisabon). Zorganizoval panelovou diskusi „Metalová komunita a subkultury na Slovensku“ na festivale INFERNO v Osle. Publikuje v různých periodikách a je spoluautorem monografie TEAM: Příběh hudební legendy. The conference will focus on the independent scene (alternative, avant-garde, experimental music), featuring special guests from both the Czech Republic and abroad. In its first year, the conference aims to connect promoters, agents, and curators from Prague, Bratislava, Warsaw, and Berlin, with the firm hope that this will not be a one-off event, but the start of a lasting tradition.
We will focus on presenting the Czech independent scene to foreign agents and facilitating connections between foreign productions and bookings. We also aim to broaden the horizons of Czech promoters by sharing the experiences of successful foreign experts, festival organizers, and agents.
Our goal is to showcase a functional festival model that successfully breaks down genre and subcultural barriers.
The main guest of the conference will be the world-renowned experimental guitarist Kristof Hahn from Berlin, who will also perform a concert as part of this year's KovnaFest. During an interview, he will talk about his experiences in the underground music scene, as well as his work with Swans and other personal projects. The interview will be conducted by German journalist Florian Fricke, who also lives in Berlin.
Interesting guests will come together for a panel discussion on the topic, "How Does the Independent Music Scene in Central Europe Differ?" from the perspective of promoters and journalists (realistic expectations, negotiation conditions, the attractiveness of certain cities, audiences, etc.). The discussion will feature Florian Fricke from Berlin (music journalist), Daniel Hevier Jr. from Bratislava (curator, project manager, booking agent from his own agency Music Press Production), David Čajčík from Prague (Heartnoize, Roxy), and Agata Hudomięt (promoter, music journalist, photographer).
The final topic will be: Is Prague a unique place and a suitable base for promoters? How to attract the Prague audience? What are the best venues for club concerts and festivals of the independent music scene, and why is Prague so special? This moderated discussion will be between Daniel Hevier Jr. and Michal Pařízek (journalist and editor-in-chief of FullMoon magazine, member of the promoter group Scrape Sound).

A graduate in multimedia music journalism from the Munich University of Music and Arts. He has worked primarily for public radio (Deutschlandfunk, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, Bayerischer Rundfunk), where he has interviewed a wide range of musicians, from James Murphy to Neneh Cherry. Fricke is particularly interested in the subcultural fringes of the contemporary and historical pop spectrum, from Mark Fischer to African club hybrids. He lives in Berlin.

Journalist and editor-in-chief of FullMoon magazine, member of the promoter group Scrape Sound. He has been publishing since 2002, with his work appearing in media such as Aktualne.cz, Reflex, Týden, Uni, etc. He also broadcasts on Český rozhlas Vltava and Radio 1. He has worked for FullMoon magazine since its founding in 2010, becoming its editor-in-chief in 2014. He also serves as curator and programmer for the FullMoon Stage at Colours of Ostrava and other festivals. Since 2020, he has co-organized the Moody Moon Noize festival. His book "In the Middle of the Story," a selection of his texts, has been published. Since 2014, he has regularly been a member of various grant committees, including those of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, the Prague City Council, and the Slovak Art Support Fund.

David wears many hats in the industry – blending roles as a concert promoter, booker, and co-founder of Heartnoize Promotion in 2013, an acclaimed Czech concert agency awarded the Vinyla Award. He has been involved in importing many world-renowned alternative acts to the Czech Republic. His touch can be found on events such as the Moody Moon Noize festival and the series Jednota, Šelest, and glitter.hit. In addition to his role at Heartnoize, since 2018 he has been a booker at the iconic Prague club Roxy and contributes to the programming team of the newly revitalized ARCHA+ venue.

Agata Hudmięt has been an advocate for independent culture in Poland for many years, seamlessly blending her roles as a music journalist, photographer, and co-creator of Undertone, one of the country’s leading independent music platforms. Her work takes her to both Polish and international festivals, where she captures the essence of live music through compelling photography and insightful artist interviews. Interviews are her specialty. Her work has been published in Noise Magazine, Gazeta Magnetofonowa, and her own independent music ZINE. She currently lives in Warsaw and works at a local community center.

He holds a PhD from the Faculty of Philosophy, specializing in musicology, where he focused on the development of Slovak and foreign rock music in the 1950s and 1960s. He has participated in conferences such as European Jazz Personalities (Bratislava), The Phenomenon of Zappa (České Budějovice), and I AM NOT THERE, dedicated to Bob Dylan (Lisbon). He organized the panel discussion "The Metal Community and Subcultures in Slovakia" at the INFERNO festival in Oslo. He has co-organized concerts in Germany, Romania, Serbia, Norway, and Armenia. He publishes in various periodicals and is a co-author of the monograph TEAM: The Story of a Music Legend. He is the editor-in-chief of the online magazine MusicPress.sk. Through his agency, Music Press Production, he works as a curator and booking agent.
