Han Narea is excited to welcome Korean Adoptees and the wider public to this year's Cultural Roots Festival. We want to thank all those who attended our inaugural event last year and we aim to make this year bigger and better, with a step up in the location, which is being kindly sponsored by the Asia Society Texas Center.This year's event will be split into two parts with the private KAD information sessions starting at 11:00am, with talks by Consulate General Office and 325 KAMRA, to help those wanting to learn more about family search or Korean citizenship. A delicious Korean lunch will be provided.
The second session will be open to the public. We have secured a traditional performance group from Korea to come to Houston and perform at this event, as well as storytime by 325KAMRA about personal birth family searches.
