Konpa Pompano!

Konpa Pompano is intended to introduce participants to Haitian music and dance cultural.

Konpa (compás) is a dance-style that originated in Haiti during the 1950s. Konpa Pompano will follow the format of our popular dance events, “Sabados de Salsa” and “Baila Pompano”. We will begin with a two one-hour instructor led dance class with instructors from KOTR Konpa Dance Studio followed by a dance party with DJ Mike Cooley.

This lively program will engage and elevate both beginners and seasoned dancers alike.

Instructors are from KOTR Dance Studio, music will be by DJ Mike Cooley.

Dem Boyz BBQ will be available for purchase and cash bar.

Ticket includes 1 free drink ticket.
