Zespół powstał w połowie lat 90-tych w Pieńsku k/Zgorzelca. Zagrał ponad 300 koncertów w Polsce, Czechach, Słowacji, Węgrzech, Niemczech, Austrii, Litwie i Irlandii. Grał u boku takich kapel jak: NoMeansNo, Post Regiment, Dead Bob, Dezerter, Kult, Trottel [h], 19 wiosen, Bielizna, Apatia, Infekcja, the antikaroshi [d], la fraction [fr]. Kapela ma na swoim koncie kilka płyt wydanych przez macierzystą Caribu Records w myśl nieśmiertelnej zasady D.I.Y. W roku 2021 Włodzimierz Krygier kręci film "Piękny dzień" [tytuł zaczerpnięty zostaje od jednej z piosenek zespołu]. Jest to dokument o Pieńsku, w którym występują m.in. członkowie kapeli, jak i wykorzystana zostaje muzyka zespołu. W roku 2023 zespół otwiera swoje Caribu Records - studio nagrań, salę prób i salę koncertową. Obok drf wystąpili - Tom Holliston- ex-Nomeansno, Show Bussines Giants i Simon Wells - ex Snuff. Od zespołu:
Nasza muzyka to wypadkowa wielu gatunków, których doświadczaliśmy i doświadczamy. Ta właśnie różnorodność nas ukształtowała. Math rock, noise, jazz core, post hardcore, punk.... to niektóre etykiety mam przypisywane. Generalnie nasza muzyka, a przede wszystkim koncerty to solidna dawka energii, połamane rytmy, potężny motoryczny bas, zakręcona gitara. Pot i miłość, zmiany tempa, emocje, piosenki wesołe i smutne, bardziej smutne... Teksty niejednoznaczne, bardziej pytania niż odpowiedzi, egzystencjalizm wykrzyczany, upadek, droga, cel...

The band was formed in the mid-1990s in Pieńsk near Zgorzelec. They have played over 300 concerts in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, Austria, Lithuania, and Ireland. They have played alongside bands such as NoMeansNo, Post Regiment, Dead Bob, Dezerter, Kult, Trottel [h], 19 wiosen, Bielizna, Apatia, Infekcja, the antikaroshi [d], la fraction [fr]. The band has released several albums on their home label Caribu Records, in accordance with the immortal principle of D.I.Y. In 2021, Włodzimierz Krygier is shooting the film “Piękny dzień” [the title is taken from one of the band's songs]. It is a documentary about Pieńsk, featuring, among others, members of the band, and using the band's music. In 2023, the band opens its own Caribu Records - a recording studio, rehearsal room, and concert hall. Alongside drf, the following artists performed: Tom Holliston (ex-Nomeansno), Show Business Giants, and Simon Wells (ex-Snuff).

Our music is a combination of many genres that we have experienced and continue to experience. It is this diversity that has shaped us. Math rock, noise, jazz core, post hardcore, punk... These are some of the labels I have been given. Generally speaking, our music, and above all our concerts, are a solid dose of energy, broken rhythms, powerful motoric bass, and crazy guitar. Sweat and love, tempo changes, emotions, happy and sad songs, more sad ones... Ambiguous lyrics, more questions than answers, shouted existentialism, downfall, the road, the goal...
