Koncepts bringing you the best of 1980’s British Post Punk and New Wave Live at the Linsmore Tavern!

We know there are a ton of British Post Punk and New Wave fans out there who love going to shows at the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave)! We really believe that the band we are bringing in on Friday July 17th will definitely appeal to all of those Post Punk and New Wave fans! Koncepts will be hitting our stage for the very first time and will be bringing you 3 sets of British 1980’s classics that you know and love! The show starts at 9pm, there will be a $10 cover charge at the door.
Koncepts is a Toronto-based three-piece power rock trio formed in 2019. The band features Paul Meaney (bass, vocals), Paul Doron (guitar, vocals), and Mario Cabral (drums, sequencers).
Blending the energy of rock with the atmospheric textures of synthwave, Koncepts delivers multiple sets of reimagined 1980s classics. Their repertoire draws heavily from iconic British post-punk and new wave artists, including The Cure, Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, A Flock of Seagulls, Soft Cell, Eurythmics, Simple Minds, Peter Gabriel, and David Bowie, transforming beloved songs into powerful, modern rock-driven performances.
Since their formation, Koncepts has headlined venues throughout Southern Ontario, including Horseshoe Tavern, Supermarket, The Painted Lady, Cathedral, The Piston, Atria Bar & Grill, Palasad SocialBowl, and The Blue Martini, earning enthusiastic audiences and strong reviews wherever they perform.
