Kompa With The Stars

This vibrant evening centers on kompa, Haiti’s signature dance style, while also featuring cultural performances from other Temple University student organizations. Guests will enjoy the rich flavors of Haitian cuisine, making the night a true feast for the senses. Beyond the celebration, Kompa with the Stars is an event with a purpose—a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to MamaBaby Haiti, a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing maternal and neonatal mortality rates in Haiti by operating birth centers, health clinics, and a midwifery school that provide free, compassionate, and respectful care to Haitian women. Your contributions are vital to helping us continue this annual tradition, ensuring that we can bring our community together year after year while making a lasting impact both locally and abroad.
