CZProhlídka novou výstavou Roman Ondak: The Day After Yesterday se bude věnovat konceptualismu šedesátých a sedmdesátých let, na který umělec navazuje. Jako mezinárodně uznávaný současný umělec slovenského původu se Roman Ondak vyjadřuje v širokém mediálním spektru (instalace, intervence, video, performance, objekt, fotografie, kresba). K jeho výrazným tvůrčím rysům patří využití běžných předmětů, materiálů, ale také situací z oblasti každodennosti, které přenáší do výstavního prostředí. Vkládá do nich vlastní metaforické kódování, ale i jemný nádech subverzivity a poetického humoru.

Join a guided tour of the exhibition Roman Ondak: The Day After Yesterday with expert commentary focusing on the conceptualism of the 1960s and 1970s, of which Ondak is a leading contemporary representative.
An internationally acclaimed Slovak-born artist, Ondak works across a wide range of media including installation, intervention, video, performance, object, photography and drawing. A defining feature of his practice is the use of ordinary objects, materials and everyday situations, which he transfers into the exhibition space. He infuses them with his own metaphorical language, subtle subversive undertones and a touch of poetic humour.
The guided tour will be held in Czech.
