Chceme mít naplňující vztahy, ale normativní kategorie, hierarchizace a společenská očekávání nám nemusejí umožňovat si tuto přirozenou potřebu naplnit. Mohou nám odpírat informace i schopnosti nutné k tomu tvořit a představovat si pečující přátelství a nekonvenční vztahové formy. Co kdybychom dokázalx nacházet oporu mimo primární romantický vztah? Jak různě se dokážeme vzájemně milovat? A s jakými závazky by se dal stavět život jinak? Budeme diskutovat nad vybranými úryvky z knihy Radical Intimacy od Sophie K. Rosy a společně si představovat inkluzivnější formy vzájemného vztahování.

Decenter Romance: Radical Friendship
Collective reading with kroužek intersekce facilitated by hanie and Armin Procházka
We want to have fulfilling relationships, but normative categories, hierarchies, and social expectations may not allow us to satisfy this natural need. They can deprive us of the information and skills needed to create and imagine caring friendships and unconventional forms of relationships. What if we were able to find support outside of a primary romantic relationship? In how many different ways can we love one another? And what kinds of commitments could allow us to build our lives differently? We’ll discuss selected excerpts from Sophie K. Rosa’s book Radical Intimacy and collectively imagine more inclusive forms of relating to one another.
