Save the date!
You are about to be invited to the Kokkerellen party, which will take place on the 28th of September at Landhuis, Gent.
All the profits from the party will be donated to Angela D, feminist collective that fights to obtain equal access rights to housing, and Brussels4Palestine, that aims to fund 2000 dignity kits for people in Gaza.
For those of you who do not know Kokkerellen: we are an anarchist, mobile action kitchen. We cook for big and small protests, events, and political actions. Once a year, we throw a memorable party to support other collectives, to celebrate the beauty of celebrating, to eat together, swim together, and dance to the rhythm of good music.
What can you expect from this party?
- A magnificent raft race: we gather materials, you build your own raft, and hope it stays afloat.
- The famously delicious Kokkerellen food.
- A plethora of good bands and DJs.
This is merely a save the date. In the course of the next weeks, we will send updates with lineup, timetables, and such.

Kruis het aan op de kalender!
Je bent uitgenodigd voor het Kokkerellenfeest dat op 28 september doorgaat in het Landhuis (Warmoezeniersweg 10) te Gent.
De winst van het feest zal dit jaar gaan naar 2 Brusselse initiatieven: Angela D. , een feministisch collectief dat strijdt voor gelijke toegang tot huisvesting en Brussels4Palestine , die geld inzamelen om 2000 ‘dignity kits’ aan te kopen voor mensen in Gaza.
Voor wie ons nog niet kent: Kokkerellen is een anarchistische mobiele actiekeuken. We koken voor kleine en grote protesten, evenementen en politieke acties. Elk jaar organiseren we een beest van een feest om andere collectieven te steunen, de schoonheid van feesten te vieren, samen te eten, zwemmen en dansen op het ritme van goede muziek.
Wat kan je op dit feest verwachten?
- Een fantastische vlottentocht: we verzamelen materiaal, jullie bouwen jullie eigen vlot en hopen dat het blijft drijven
- Het vermaarde heerlijke kokkerellen eten
- Een stortvloed aan goeie bands en DJ’s
Dit bericht dient vooral om de datum al vast te leggen. In de loop van de volgende weken zullen we regelmatig updates sturen met de lineup, het verloop van de dag enzoverder.
