Kodu Video Game Design & Minecraft including Lunch(5-16yrs)

Game building with Xbox controllers and Kodu, a 3D game development environment that is designed to teach kids basic programming principles. Creators will build the world's terrain, populate it with characters and props, and then program their behaviours and games rules in a bespoke visual programming language.

This session will end with a 1 hour Minecraft build challenge.

We aim to take regular screen breaks throughout the sessions where we will take outdoor breaks weather permitting. Please ensure your child has appropriate clothing and a coat. Lunch and bottled water will be provided.

It is preferable for children attending these events to be a member of the Library service in advance of the sessions in order to use the IT facilities, though this is not essential. Applications can be completed in person at any local library prior to the session and a limited number of applications may be processed on the day.
