About the Kodachadri Trek:
The Kodachadri Trek is a popular and scenic trekking destination located in the Western Ghats of Karnataka. Known for its lush green forests, rolling meadows, and mist-covered trails, the trek leads to the Kodachadri peak, which stands at about 1,343 meters above sea level. It is especially famous for its breathtaking sunrise and sunset views over the Arabian Sea horizon. The trail passes through dense jungle paths, small waterfalls, and open grasslands, making it moderately challenging yet rewarding for trekkers. A key highlight near the summit is the ancient Sarvajna Peetha, believed to be a meditation spot of Adi Shankaracharya. Overall, Kodachadri offers a perfect blend of adventure, spirituality, and natural beauty.
